A soft, buttery lemon sponge made with fresh lemon zest and soaked in a sweet, tangy lemon drizzle.
Orange & Poppy Seed 🍊
Fresh orange flavour with a poppy seed crunch.
A soft orange sponge made with fresh orange zest and poppy seeds, soaked with homemade orange syrup and finished with a fresh orange glaze.
Victoria Sponge 🍓
Light, fluffy and perfectly balanced.
A light vanilla sponge layered with smooth vanilla buttercream and strawberry jam, finished with a dusting of icing sugar.
⚠️ All cakes are approximately 4 inches and handmade in small batches. Our mini cakes contain wheat (gluten), eggs and milk. Please tell us about any allergies or dietary requirements before ordering. Our products are prepared in a kitchen that also handles other allergens, including nuts, so we cannot guarantee the absence of traces of other allergens.

back to our hens
The eggs used in our cakes come from our own backyard hens whenever possible. We also try to make use of what would otherwise be kitchen waste.
After baking, the empty eggshells are collected, thoroughly dried and baked in the oven before being crushed into a fine grit. The sterilised shells are then returned to our hens as a natural source of calcium — helping turn part of our baking waste back into something useful.

Munchkin Bakehouse started the way the best things do — quietly, at home, for the people we love.
Munchkin Bakehouse was born in a home kitchen in Tisbury, Wiltshire — a quiet village where generations of farmers have worked the land and known each other by name.
Raised in a farming household, baking has always been part of the fabric here. But what makes these cakes different isn't just the skill — it's the eggs. Every single cake is made using eggs from our own free-roam hens, raised by hand, fed well, and allowed to roam freely. You can taste the difference.
Word spread through family, then friends, then friends of friends. People kept coming back, asking: “Can I order one for myself?” And so Munchkin Bakehouse was born.
